Laigui Yu: born in May 1963 in Jiangxi province, China. He received his B.S. degree from the Department of Chemistry, Jiangxi Normal University in 1984, MSc. and Ph.D degrees from the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication of Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1990 and 1997, respectively. Currently, he works as a professor at the Center of Nanomaterial Engineering and Technology, Henan University, China. His current research interests include tribochemistry, lubricating materials, and nanostructured-materials.
