Professional Research Interests and Expertise

My research interests are in the area of computation for chemistry and materials relevant to photo-electro-catalysis, including water splitting. In particular I am interested in the use of multi-scale and multi-physics modeling, including high-performance computing approaches, to gain fundamental understanding that can lead to theory-driven design. My expertise includes studies of electronic structure, chemical reactions, and electron transfer processes. I use Material Studio and Vesta to build models and I am familiar with VASP and CASTEP code.
