He has presided over 1 national and 1 provincial project including 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China, (International (Regional) Cooperation and Exchange Program), and 1 Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. Moreover, Ministry of Science and Technology, China awarded him with “Foreign cultural and educational experts” award. During his PhD under the joint graduation program of the National Institute of Materials Sciences (NIMS) and Waseda University, he worked with world-renowned Prof. Minoru Osada (current affiliation Nagoya University) and Prof. Takayoshi Sasaki.
