本研究室是国内最早从事螺烯化学研究的课题组之一，目前主要从事基于噻吩的特殊结构单元（如螺旋结构、马鞍型结构）的有机合成、基于对称与非对称二噻吩并芳环有机光电材料的合成与物性表征。期望在噻吩螺烯、树枝状材料方面展示我们的有机合成技巧，并期待有关基于噻吩的稠环材料能应用于有机薄膜场效应晶体管(OFET)、有机太阳能电池(OSC/DSSC)等领域。

Our group is  one of the leading pioneers engaged in Helicene Chemistry in China. Our current  research interests are in the area of Organic Chemistry including organic  functional materials, organic photochemistry, supramolecular chemistry and  polymer science with emphasis on the design, synthesis, and study of molecules  with novel molecular structures and chemical/physical properties. The  objective is to design and prepare new class of organic materials such as thiophene-based helicenes, dendrimers, symmetrical/unsymmetrical  dithienoheteroaromatic rings with conducting, (chiro)optical and photophysical  properties (e.g. organic field effect transmittors, organic solar cell and dye  sensitized solar cell).
