On the afternoon of December 8th, 2018, the Engineering Research Center for Nanomaterials invited Prof. Shuangquan Zang, who is from Zhengzhou University to give academic reports. The report was hosted by Prof. Wang Hua; the teachers and students from the Engineering Research Center for Nano Materials, Key Laboratory for Special Functional Materials, Natural Medicine Key Laboratory, and School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering participated in the report.
Zang’s lecture mainly focused on the scientific problem existing in metal cluster materials. With the ingenious molecular design, the stability of the silver clusters was greatly improved. Via utilization of the different functional ligands, a variety of silver sulfur clusters have been prepared, which have been applied in light emitting, sensors and bio-imaging etc.
