On the morning of April 17th, 2019, the Engineering Research Center for Nanomaterials invited Prof. Yanming Sun, who is from Beihang University to give academic reports. The report was hosted by Prof. Jinsheng Song; the teachers and students from the Engineering Research Center for Nano Materials, Key Laboratory for Special Functional Materials, Natural Medicine Key Laboratory, and School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering participated in the report.

Sun’s lecture mainly focused on the fibril morphology control via the material design in the field of organic photovoltaics. With the ingenious molecular design, tunable phase separation could be achieved. He also presented the recent works on the asymmetric non-fullerene acceptors and thick film devices with the thickness of 500 nm still could maintain the PCE of 12%.
