On July 23, 2019, Chuanxi Xiong at Wuhan University of Technology was invited to visit ERN, giving the lecture entitled “Application of solvent-free nanofluids in plastics processing and energy materials”. This lecture mainly introduces the microstructure, basic characteristics and flow mechanism of solvent-free nanofluids. Besides, Prof. Xiong introduced the research status of zero dimensional, one dimensional, two dimensional and macromolecular nanofluids in solvent-free nanofluids and their applications in plastics processing and energy materials.

His current research interests include solvent-free nanofluids, photoelectric devices, polymer battery membranes, supercapacitors, phase change materials, dielectric materials, piezoelectric materials, etc. Up to now, he has more than 200 papers published in the top journals, such as JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Adv. Fun. Mater., EES and ACS nano.
