On the morning of July 24th, 2019, the Engineering Research Center for Nanomaterials invited Prof. Yong Zhang, who is from Harbin Institute of Technology to give academic reports. The report was hosted by Prof. Jinsheng Song; the teachers and students from the Engineering Research Center for Nano Materials, Key Laboratory for Special Functional Materials and School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering participated in the report.

Zhang’s lecture mainly focused on the design and characterization of the furan and perylene diimide based photovoltaic materials. With the ingenious molecular design, high PCE of 13% could be achieved. He also presented the their recent results in the field of OLED.
