Surface and interface materials; wettability; superhydrophobicity and superoleophobicity; oil and water separation; slippery surface

Xia Zhang gained her Ph.D. degree from Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Science in 2009. She started her academic career at Henan university since 2002, and was promoted to Professor in 2017. She is research fellow form university college London. She has accomplished more than 5 projects from Natural Science Foundation of China. By now, she has published more than 50 research papers such as Advanced Science, Journal of materials chemistry A, and trained 9 talented postgraduates. Her research interests are focused on the fabrication of superhydrophobic materials and property research including self-cleaning, anti-icing, durability and corrosion resistance.
